Automotive Management Specialist

Basic information about certificate

The Automotive Management Specialist certificate is issued with the co-operation of Škoda Auto a.s., Production and Logistics department. Obtaining a certificate demonstrates knowledge in the field of mechanical, electrical and electronic construction of automobiles in modern automobile production, which are passed on through experts from practice. 

This knowledge is supplemented by modern disciplines such as 3D printing, programmig of production equipment and knowledge from the field of IT. The certificate can be obtained by students of the subsequent master´s study program Industrial Management. 

The course will be taught at the Škoda Auto university in Mladá Boleslav.

Conditions for earning the certificate

  • Study the master´s degree program Industrial Management
  • Completion of at least four optional courses from the prescribed offer
  • Achieving an average of 2.5 or better in these courses 
  • Payment of a fee of CZK 300 to the school account

Courses that student must complete: 

  • MCA - Mechanical Automobile Parts
  • EESA - Electrical and Electronic Automotive Systems
  • MAV - Modern Automotive Production
  • NTA - New Trend in Automotive Industry
Courses with a technical theme that the student can take optionally (but at least 2): 
  • CAD
  • VR - Virtual Reality
  • Z3DT - Basics of 3D Printing
  • PROB - Robot programming
  • PLRS - Programming of logical control systems
  • PVAP - Production Planning of Automotive Industry (course is taught by Škoda Auto managers. 
Courses with an IT theme that a student can take optionally (but at least 3):
  • TIST - Technical Infrastructure and Network Technologies
  • ŘPI I - Management of Business Informatics 
  • BPOD - Business Security and Data Protection
  • ZPŘ - Process Driven Management Essentials
  • AP - Algorithmization and Programming
  • DAD - Data Analysis and Databases
  • NM - Numercial Methods 

Application for the issue of the certificate

After having met the determined conditions, the student must apply for issue of the certificate by submitting an application in the Contact Centre in AIS (“Application for Issue of a Professional Certificate”). The student will be informed about the method of handover of the certificate by the Study Department.
