Strategic Human Resource Management Foundations (Bachelor study programme)
Basic information about certificate
The "Strategic Human Resource Management Foundations" certificate is intended for students of bachelor study programmes and their specializations at Škoda Auto University and is issued at People & Culture department of Škoda Auto a.s. After completing the certificate, graduates will not only have a range of professional knowledge acquired in the course, but also practical skills that they will acquire as part of professional practice at the People & Škoda Auto department. The subjects are taught at the headquarters of Škoda Auto University. Courses previously completed at Škoda Auto University or other universities can also be recognized.

Conditions for earning the certificate
- Be a bachelor's student in the Economics and Management study programmes any specializations or the Business Informatics study programme at Škoda Auto University.
- Pay a fee of CZK 300 to the school account.
Courses required for the certificate
A bachelor's degree graduate must complete the following courses as part of their studies at ŠAVŠ and other folowing conditions:
- Selected cases from personnel practice - course for 3 credits (invited guests - guarantor Mgr. Eva Švejdarová MBA, M.A., Ph.D.)
- Personnel Management II
- Ethics in Personnel Management
- Mandatory internship in the area of People & Culture must be carried out for a period of 5 months (within one semester from September to the end of January) at Škoda Auto a.s.
- The People & Culture area caters to students during their internship - students can flexibly adapt their internship to their needs (e.g. change of department within the HR specialist area)
- Bachelor's thesis - from the field of HR or relevant to the field of People & Culture
- Peer - Shadowing a colleague in practice (another department within People & Culture)
- Written individual reflection and presentation of outputs in front of representatives of ŠA and ŠAVŠ
Application for the issue of the certificate
After having met the determined conditions, the student must apply for issue of the certificate by submitting an application in the Contact Centre in AIS (“Application for Issue of a Professional Certificate”). The student will be informed about the method of handover of the certificate by the Study Department.
