Modernization of curricula at Jiangnan University
Skoda Auto University organized an online training on curriculum development for the teaching staff of the Jiangnan University on January 18, 2020
Pavel Mertlík, the rector of the Skoda Auto University, coordinated the working session the training supported by Petr Šulc, Vice-Rector for Study Affairs and Quality Management, Lenka Stejskalová, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Jan Lachman, Vice-Rector for Science and Research.
The team of the Jiangnan university was composed by Yuhong Wang, Runting Zhong, Ping Chen, Yishuai Yin, Zhen Liu, Celia Tao, who presented the syllabi of 12 updated study subjects. The team of the Skoda Auto University remarked some improvements with comparison to the original content and structure of the syllabi. The upgrade of curricula at the Jiangnan university is going in the right direction, but further actions should be taken. The experts of the Skoda Auto University gave some recommendations to the colleagues of the Jiangnan university to further improve the curricula and to be ready in the next online training planned for March 2021.
