Workshop of representatives of universities participating in the JEUL project
A workshop was held between 8th and 12th October 2018 in Siena, Italy, for representatives of JEUL universities. On behalf of ŠKODA AUTO University, the workshop was attended by Dr. Jan Lachman from the R & D Department, Bc. Barbora Bukovanová from the International Office and Mgr. Alena Bednárová from the Study Affairs Department. Our staff met the representatives of our partner universities – the host University of Siena, Vilnius University, University of Kent, UEH Ho Chi Minh City, BUH Ho Chi Minh City and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
The representatives of the universities exchanged information on the main activities of their institutions and discussed student internships and cooperation with the business sector. ŠAVŠ extended its cooperation with some universities within Erasmus+.
The representatives of ŠAVŠ also reviewed the established processes of other universities, learning new things that can potentially be used to implement new processes, services or their improvements at ŠKODA AUTO University. A visit to the Santa Chiara Laboratories allowed them to learn about research projects at the University of Siena.
To conclude the event, our representatives explored the city centre and visited a number of beautiful historical sites including the building and collection of the art gallery in Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank.
