Pavel Štrach

Pavel Štrach is a graduate of the Prague University of Economics and Business, Faculty of Management (Bc., Ing.) and Faculty of Business Administration (Ph.D.). He has also completed a doctoral course of study at the Otago Business School, University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. He qualified for associate professorship in the field of management at the University of Prešov in Prešov. He worked for more than 10 years as a permanent visiting professor at IONA College, LaPenta School of Business in New York. Between the years of 2014 and 2016, he worked as Professor for International Services and Innovation at the University of Applied Sciences, School of Management in the Austrian city of Steyr. He has worked at the ŠKODA AUTO University in various positions since 2006 – Director of the MBA programme, Guarantor of the follow-up Master’s study programme, Head of the Department of Marketing and Management and Vice-Rector for International Relations. Articles written by Pavel Štrach dealing with the issue of strategies in international business have been published in professional journals in more than 25 countries on 4 continents, e.g. Services Marketing Quarterly, the Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science and the Journal of Product and Brand Management.

Eva Jaderná

Eva Jaderná is a university lecturer. She graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice in the field of Commercial Business specialising in Tourism (Ing.), followed by doctoral study at the Faculty of Economics at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice in the field of Business Administration and Economics (Ph.D.). Between the years of 2003 and 2017, she worked in small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of management of manufacturing and retail. She has published a number of academic articles and monographs, especially in the field of marketing, business management and destination management. In the field of teaching, she specialises in B2B marketing, business management and marketing research. She has been an assistant professor at the ŠKODA AUTO University since 2015.

Radim Lenort

Radim Lenort graduated from the Faculty of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering at VŠB – Technical University in Ostrava, in the fields of Economics and Management in Metallurgy (Ing.) and Teaching of Specialised Subjects. He successfully completed his doctoral studies at the same faculty in the field of Business Administration and Economics (Ph.D.), followed by habilitation in the field of Management of Industrial Systems (Assoc. Prof.) and the appointment procedure to become professor in the same field (Prof.). Radim Lenort received the degree ING-PEAD IGIP International Engineering Educator awarded by the International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP – Switzerland) and auditor of logistics at the Logistics Academy (ALog.). He was a visiting professor at AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland) and Opole University of Technology (Poland) over a long period. He has completed internships at Dresden University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Regensburg University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Seinajoki University of Applied Sciences (Finland), University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (Austria), Technical University of Kosice (Slovakia) and Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys (Russia). In terms of teaching and research, he focuses on industrial logistics and industrial supply chains management. He is an auditor of logistics, member of the Chamber of Logistic Auditors, Slovakian Logistics Society, coordinator of the certification and educational organisation Logistics Academy, coordinator of ŠKODA AUTO University’s membership in the Czech Logistics Association and GNSS Centre of Excellence, lecturer of courses for industrial companies, researcher or co- researcher of more than 60 R&D projects (supported e.g. by the Czech Science Foundation, Ministry of Industry and Trade or EU funds) and projects of contractual research (among others ŠKODA AUTO a.s., Siemens s.r.o.). He is an evaluator of the National Accreditation Bureau, member of the scientific board at two universities, member of the editorial board of domestic and foreign journals (e.g. Acta logistica and Archives of Transport indexed in the Scopus database) and supervisor of international conferences and congresses (e.g. Carpathian Logistics Congress or Metal indexed in Web of Science and Scopus). He is the author and co-author of more than 240 publications with more than 580 responses in the Web of Science database (H-index 16). He has worked with ŠKODA AUTO University since 2012.

Eva Švejdarová

Eva Švejdarová has extensive experience from both Czech as well as universities abroad. For several years she lived in Spain (Granada) and in the United States of America (Los Angeles, Oahu Hawaii). During her Merrill scholarship in the USA, she became intensely interested in interculturality and migration issues, and in 2007 she was accepted into the doctoral program at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she subsequently received an M.A. degree from the Graduate School of Education & Information Studies in Social Sciences & Comparative Education. In 2012, she has completed her Ph.D. studies at the FF UPOL. In 2012, she joined the ŠKODA AUTO University. She currently works as an associate professor at the Department of Human Resource Management and teaches subjects both in Czech and English. She has been leading research projects in the areas of sustainable business and education, new management approaches and business anthropology. She is a member of many prestigious associations and publishes articles on the topics of human resources management, corporate training, ethics and sustainability, intercultural communication, diversity and inclusion. In her classes, she applies innovative forms of teaching and is the co-author of the 21st EWA (Empowering Wholeness Adaptive) Edu didactic model.

Emil Velinov

Emil Velinov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he graduated in Industrial Engineering (Ing.) from the Faculty of Business Economics. He later obtained his Master's degree in production and operation management at the Technical University in Sofia. Between the years of 2010 and 2014, he studied and completed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Business Administration at the Prague University of Economics and Business. Between the years of 2007 and 2015, he worked for several multinational corporations such as General Electric, Oracle and Hoerbiger in Europe, North America and Southeast Asia in manufacturing, energy, IT and the automotive industry. Since graduating from the Prague University of Economics and Business, he has published many articles, especially in the field of international management and marketing, international business and diversity management. As part of his research and development activities, he has worked as a project manager in countless inter-institutional projects with small and medium-sized enterprises and municipalities from Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Austria, Estonia, Bulgaria and Russia, etc. Since 2015, he has won several projects, e.g. via the Norwegian Funds and grants from the EEC, Visegrad Funds, the Bavarian-Czech Academic Agency (BTHA), CEEPUS scholarships in Bulgaria, ESKAS in Switzerland and DoRa in Estonia. Since 2018, he has participated actively as a mentor and tutor at the international virtual educational projects X-Culture and Blended Learning International Cooperation (BLIC) within the framework of collaboration between the ŠKODA AUTO University and partner educational institutions from Germany, England, Iceland, Estonia and the USA. He has worked at the ŠKODA AUTO University since September 2017.
