Joint Enterprise University Learning (JEUL)

The JEUL project focuses on establishing and developing lasting cooperation among HEIs and the private sector. It intends to influence the way universities work and to enable them to learn from the entrepreneurial nature of companies by developing and using case studies based and elaborated on the experience of companies, enhancing their teaching and learning methods and gaining an understanding of the needs of enterprises and improving the curricula accordingly. The HEIs shall move forward and become ‘Entrepreneurial Universities’.

Goal of the Project:
The goal of the project is to improve the quality of higher education and enhance its relevance for the labour market and society. The project involves identifying the skills and knowledge of graduates needed by enterprises and revising the curricula with a view to anchor these skills in the study programmes. The placement of students in companies will result in the preparation of case studies and their implementation in the curricula, enhancing the quality of education in partner HEIs. With the revised curricula and improved teaching and learning methods, graduates will gain knowledge and skills, which are more relevant to enterprises and the labour market.

Target Groups:
The target groups of the project are universities, their staff, present and future students, and enterprises. The other key stakeholders are the government and the general public
