ACBSP Region 8 International Council 2025 Conference in Mladá Boleslav and Prague

On 6–7 November 2025, the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Region 8 International Council conference took place in Mladá Boleslav and in Prague. The Council connects over 150 business universities from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. This year’s meeting was hosted by Škoda Auto University on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.

The conference was attended by 30 representatives from universities across 18 countries on four continents, who discussed current topics in business education, accreditation, and international cooperation. The Chair of Region 8 for 2025 and 2026 is Assoc. Prof. Pavel Štrach. Business study programs at Škoda Auto University were first accredited in 2014 and successfully reaccredited in 2024.

The program also included the announcement of the results of the CESIM Elite Qualifier student simulation competition, in which the winning team came from Boston City Campus in South Africa.

The conference once again confirmed the importance of the ACBSP regional network for enhancing the quality of business and management education, reinforced the role of Škoda Auto University in advancing higher education quality at the international level, and strengthened international collaboration among member institutions.
