12.10.2026

Brussels, October 2026 – Lenka Stejskalová from Škoda Auto University successfully represented the CREATE project at the Jean Monnet Actions Cluster Meeting 2026, an international event focused on teaching and learning about the European Union in schools. Organized by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), the meeting took place on 8-9 October in Brussels.

As part of the two-day programme, Lenka Stejskalová led the workshop “Teaching Europe through Inquiry, Debate and Critical Thinking,” which showcased methods of critical thinking, argumentation, and student-centred teaching approaches based on active learner engagement used within the CREATE project. The workshop attracted considerable interest from participants and contributed to the exchange of good practices among European educational institutions.

The event also featured an international Marketplace, where the CREATE project was presented to education professionals and representatives of other Erasmus+ funded initiatives. This provided an excellent opportunity to establish new contacts and explore future collaboration with potential European partners.

During the meeting, an individual session with a European Commission project manager took place within the “Meet Your Project Officer” format. The discussion focused on the project's progress, achievements, and opportunities for further development and dissemination of its results.

More than 100 experts, educators, and project coordinators from 25 European countries participated in the event. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of international cooperation in promoting high-quality education about the European Union and fostering democratic competences among young people.

“Participating in the Cluster Meeting was an exceptional opportunity to share the outcomes of the CREATE project, gain inspiration from colleagues across Europe, and establish new professional contacts for future cooperation. The event confirmed that critical thinking, argumentation, and active citizenship remain highly relevant priorities throughout the European educational landscape,” said Lenka Stejskalová.

The CREATE project once again demonstrated its active role within the European educational community and strengthened its position among initiatives dedicated to promoting critical thinking, democratic citizenship, and innovative approaches to teaching about the European Union.
