Korean delegation at ŠAVŠ

On Wednesday, 16 April 2026, Škoda Auto Vysoká škola in Mladá Boleslav welcomed a delegation from the Daejeon Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea. The delegation consisted of 32 representatives of the institution.

The guests were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, doc. Ing. Helena Chytilová, M.A., Ph.D., and the Head of the International Office, Ing. Denisa Římalová, M.A. The delegation was introduced to Škoda Auto Vysoká škola, its academic programmes, study opportunities for international students, and reseach activities. The visit included a presentation focused not only on the study offer, but also on the functioning of the university, its connection with industry, and its overall educational concept in the context of applied economics and technical programmes. The presentation was followed by an extensive discussion focusing on the content of study programmes, the structure of curricula, opportunities for international cooperation, and the potential development of relations between the two institutions. Special attention was given to opportunities for student involvement in practice-oriented education and to their future employability prospects. The visit contributed to further strengthening international relations and opened up space for future discussions on potential academic cooperation and exchange activities.
