22.06.2026

From 8 to 15 June, Škoda Auto Vysoká škola welcomed a group of 15 high school students from Taiwan as part of the second edition of the Summer School organized in cooperation with Taipei Municipal Muzha Vocational High School. Building on the success of last year’s programme, the summer school once again offered students a unique opportunity to experience the Czech higher education environment and gain insight into key areas of the automotive industry.

The academic programme was delivered by faculty members of Škoda Auto Vysoká škola, who prepared a series of workshops, lectures, and practical demonstrations focusing on automotive industry, dealer management, sustainability, introduction to the automotive industry, robotics, logistics, and brand management. Through these activities, students gained valuable knowledge about the functioning of the modern automotive sector and the trends shaping its future.

The Summer School also featured a rich accompanying programme. Participants visited the Lean Centre and Training Centre of Škoda Auto, as well as the company’s production plant and the Škoda Museum in Mladá Boleslav. In addition to the professional activities, students had the opportunity to explore Czech culture and natural heritage through visits to the Harrachov Glassworks and the Mumlava Waterfalls.

The programme concluded with student presentations, during which participants creatively reflected on the topics and experiences they had encountered throughout the week. The presentations demonstrated not only the students’ newly acquired knowledge but also their enthusiasm, creativity, and engagement with the programme.

The second edition of the Summer School once again highlighted the value of international cooperation in education and further strengthened the partnership between Škoda Auto University and Taipei Municipal Muzha Vocational High School. The programme provided participants with academic knowledge, practical experience, and valuable opportunities for intercultural exchange and international networking.

Škoda Auto University would like to express its sincere appreciation to the faculty members who contributed to the academic programme, as well as to the organizing team whose dedication ensured the successful delivery of the Summer School.
