The Second CREATE Methodological Workshop Focused on Personal Development and Social Responsibility

On 25 August 2026, Škoda Auto University hosted the second methodological workshop in a series of educational activities organised within the international project CREATE (Czech Resilience in Europe through Awareness, Training and Empowerment). Entitled Personal Development and Social Responsibility, the workshop was led by Dagmar Sieglová. Participants explored current issues related to the future of work, challenges facing education, and Strategy 2030.

Dagmar Sieglová introduced modern teaching methods suited to the needs of the 21st century, highlighting the importance of developing personal competencies and social responsibility in the context of a changing labour market. The workshop followed an interactive format, allowing participants not only to learn about the methods presented but also to try them out in practice and discuss their potential application in education.

The workshop brought together representatives of Business Academy in Mladá Boleslav, the Secondary School of Gastronomy and Hospitality in Mladá Boleslav, the Secondary Vocational School and Secondary Vocational Training Centre in Horky nad Jizerou, and academic staff from Škoda Auto University.

The meeting contributed to strengthening cooperation between Škoda Auto University academics and teachers from the secondary schools involved in the project. It also provided an opportunity to exchange experience, gain inspiration, and explore new approaches to addressing current and future educational needs.

About the CREATE Project

CREATE – Czech Resilience in Europe through Awareness, Training and Empowerment – is an Erasmus+ project that aims to strengthen resilience, awareness, and active engagement in the European context through education. At Škoda Auto University, the project connects the academic community with secondary schools and creates opportunities for knowledge sharing, the development of teaching competencies, and the use of innovative educational methods. The series of methodological workshops supports teachers’ professional development and contributes to strengthening critical thinking, civic competencies, and the ability to respond to current societal challenges.
