Basic information about the study
Are you interested in the details of how companies and markets work on a national and international level and want to become a capable manager or perhaps start your own successful business? Choose to study our Business Management specialisation at our school, which has an in-depth focus not only on management, marketing or market research, but also on communication, retail or project management.
Teaching is primarily focused on the connection with practical skills.
As a graduate, you will be employed as specialists and coordinators in sales, export or import companies, in marketing departments, marketing research, communication or projects that companies deal with in connection with their international activities.

The goal of the Sales Management specialisation is to use theoretical economic, managerial and marketing disciplines to acquire the skills needed by every manager in an international environment, while understanding the operation of companies on a domestic and international level. Specialised courses provide a deeper understanding of fields such as marketing, management, marketing communication, PR, marketing research or social communication.
The programme is based on combining theoretical and practical skills. Lecturers often use case studies or interactive management games to allow students to have an in-depth understanding of the given issue. Students gain practical managerial skills not only during their compulsory internships in domestic or foreign companies engaged in international trade, but also in terms of courses which include regular meetings with experts in the field.
The fifth semester includes a compulsory internship. to increase the employment opportunities of graduates. Students most often choose Škoda Auto for their internships as well as other partner companies of Škoda Auto University or foreign companies,
primarily within the Volkswagen Group, with the support of the Erasmus+ programme. Under the Erasmus programme, students can also spend one or two semesters at one of more than 60 partner universities. Škoda Auto University also offers very interesting projects outside of Erasmus allowing students to choose from destinations such as China, India, South Korea or the USA for their studies abroad.
Graduates can further expand their knowledge and skills in a follow-on Master’s degree programme International marketing. Given the extended and comprehensive foundation of all Bachelor’s programmes, students will be ready to study other Master’s degree programmes offered by the school as well.
The specialisation is designed for students with analytical thinking who would like to gain an insight into corporate processes on a national and international level.
