Graduation Ceremony at Škoda Auto University: Courage, Curiosity and Humanity as the Foundation of Graduates’ Future Paths February graduation ceremonies for bachelor’s and master’s graduates were held at Škoda Auto University.
The ceremonial graduation at Škoda Auto University was marked by gratitude, pride and strong values that graduates carry with them into their future professional and personal lives. This exceptional moment concluded years of academic effort, personal development and overcoming challenges.
In their speeches, the graduates sincerely thanked the academic staff and university employees for creating a supportive environment that allowed them to develop both their knowledge and skills. Special appreciation was also expressed to parents, families and loved ones who supported them throughout their studies and believed in their success.
The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by speeches from the university leadership. Their address highlighted three key values – courage, curiosity and humanity. Courage to face great opportunities and challenges, curiosity to continue learning and growing, and humanity as a fundamental principle guiding personal and professional conduct.
In his speech, the Director and Rector of the University reminded the graduates that graduation represents the moment when all their hard work, patience and effort come together: "From this day forward, you become not only holders of a diploma, but above all carriers of experiences that have made you stronger and wiser."
He also praised their perseverance in overcoming obstacles and expressed gratitude to their families and loved ones for supporting them throughout their studies. At the same time, he emphasized that although the university is a relatively young institution, it carries a strong genius loci and builds on the rich history of the important educational site “Na Karmeli”. Over the years, Škoda Auto University has established a strong position among universities in the Czech Republic. The graduates completed their studies in a time that is far from simple and that brings new, often unpredictable challenges. They will face problems that we may not yet fully understand today. However, it is precisely this generation that has the power to shape the world around them and change it for the better.
"Be intelligent, think critically and form your own opinions. Be an inspiration for future generations," concluded Ondřej Krejcar in his speech, while also expressing pride and gratitude: "It has been an honour to have you here, to teach you and to grow together with you."
The new graduates thus leave not only with an academic degree, but also with a sense of responsibility towards their alma mater, society and themselves – with the ambition to be successful, fulfilled and honourable in everything they do.
