The first workshop of the Automotive Computing for Mobility Innovation (ACMI) project took place on 20-21 January 2025 in Žilina
The 1st workshop of the project ACMI - Automotive Computing for Mobility Innovation, funded by the Erasmus+ programme (type of the project: Erasmus Mundus Design Measures, project number 101180066) took place on 20 and 21 January 2025 at the University of Žilina. This project is aimed at developing a joint Master's degree programme in Automotive Computing in cooperation among five universities from four European countries: the Škoda Auto University and Unicorn University (Czech Republic), the University of Žilina (Slovakia), Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (Finland) and Transilvania University of Brasov (Romania). The project focuses on the development of the content, structure and policy of the joint study programme, procedural and administrative procedures and model agreements that will support the subsequent design of an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters study programme.
The workshop was attended by representatives of all five participating universities and addressed, among others, the issues of the joint degree policy, the joint promotion and awareness-raising strategy and the joint programme and integrated teaching and training activities. This is to ensure that the forthcoming Master's programme not only meets the requirements for accreditation at national levels but also meets the Standards for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
At the end of the workshop, representatives of the universities took part in a tour of the KIA car plant in Žilina.
Project No. 101180066 with the title Automotive Computing for Mobility Innovation is co-funded by the European Union within the Erasmus Mundus programme (Erasmus Mundus Design Measures).
