The Research Center of Škoda Auto University previously dealt with existing activities defined as Institutional Research. These were multi-disciplinary publication and networking activities that were of interest to the automotive industry. The Research Center covered the processing of the regular annual report on the state and development of the automotive industry, and organized the international conference ICAI. Its goal was to strengthen the university's involvement in the GERPISA network by participating in its activities, including publishing in the International Journal of Automotive Technology and Management and organizing research workshops and seminars.
